Cara Zimmerman will serve as the new chair of the Stowe School Board. Cara, Jim Brochhausen, and Tiffany Donza will sit on the board of the Lamoille South Supervisory Union, along with board members from Elmore-Morristown Unified Union School District. Emily Bradbury is the new Stowe Education Fund liaison, and she will also take on the role of Legislative Designee, to inform the board of legislative developments that affect education.
The board was updated regarding progress in implementing Algebra I in eighth grade. Stowe Middle School held informational meetings regarding the new option. Those who need additional information are encouraged to contact Mr. Morrison.
Finally, despite this year's snow days, Stowe High School graduation will still take place on June 10 at noon.
The next regularly scheduled school board meeting will be Monday, April 3 at 6:00 PM, and it will be held in the SES music room.
